Insight When students begin studying with me, they often have very low self esteem and often tell me that they feel that they are dumb or stupid. After a time, I love to see the excitement my students have when they come to learn, because they know that they are able to learn and they are learning the skills they need. One of the most exciting experiences I have is when I hear parents say how their child has increased self esteem and they are pleasantly surprised when their child, who may have previously dreaded school, now looks forward to it! My Mission Although I could have chosen to continue teaching in a school setting, I decided to dedicate myself to those who need my help. Every student has potential, we need to discover how to open the door for each of them. Mrs. Laura Toffelmire |
