Submit Answers Here - note that this is for letter puzzles ONLY. Other types of puzzles are not in large enough quantity (yet) to bother with high scores. Please note that I receive the answers personally and must update the site before you can see them on the highscore list, so you need to be patient.

Point System:
Letter Puzzles are currently all that can be scored. A difficulty bonus is awarded if the puzzle was solved correctly the 1st time and the puzzle was marked as a difficult puzzle. Those puzzles are usually ones that have a twist or complicated ideas that make it somewhat harder than other puzzles of that type. IF you solve the difficulty puzzles later, usually within a few tries depending on the level, you may get a small portion of the bonus. Ex. Level 1, 3 letters. If you get it wrong the first time, instead of getting 3 points x 2 is 6 points, you would get 2 * .75 (penalty for not getting it right - described below) + 1 * .25 (getting a letter correct later) x 1.2 (difficulty bonus - if there is one) instead of x 2.
Level 1 Puzzles are worth the number of letters they contain in the puzzle. If there is a difficulty bonus, 2x the points are awarded! (The odd one has a double difficulty bonus - 3x the points are awarded)
Level 2 Puzzles are worth 2 times the # of letters they contain in the puzzle. The difficulty bonus is worth 1.9x the regular number of points. Double bonus is worth 2.9x
Level 3 Puzzles are worth 4 times the # of letters they contain in the puzzle. The difficulty bonus is worth 1.8x the regular number of points. Double bonus is worth 2.8x
Level 4 Puzzles are worth 6 times the # of letters they contain in the puzzle. The difficulty bonus is worth 1.6x the regular number of points. Double bonus is worth 2.6x
Level 5 Puzzles are worth 8 times the # of letters they contain in the puzzle. The difficulty bonus is worth 1.5x the regular number of points. Double bonus is worth 2.5x

The difficulty bonus goes down for two reasons, 1. The bonus isn't as effective as usual in higher levels, and 2. You are getting plenty of points anyway.

IF YOU DON'T GET IT ALL CORRECT ON THE FIRST TRY...
The number of letters you got correct is multiplied by .75, then multiplied as shown above (ex. Level 3, multiply by 4). The rest of the letters that weren't correct will be worth a quarter of what they would be normally worth if solved correctly later.

On the high score list below, if a Screen Name has a link, you can click on it to see in more detail how the points were awarded, which puzzles were solved, etc. Nothing personal is provided, ex. E-mail address, etc.
